CapitaLand is one of Asia’s largest property companies, with core interests in real estate, hospitality and real estate financial services. In this interview, the company’s senior vice president of investor relations, Harold Woo, talks about the kinds of issues he and his team face on a regular basis.
Everyday challenges include having to deal with a large field of operations coupled with an investor base that spans several continents. Woo manages this with the support of his three-strong IR team. He believes that well-planned communications represent the foundation of a sound IR strategy; in particular, he argues that investing in the IR website can be a worthwhile endeavor.
