Storytel names new head of IR

Mattias Frithiof ‘will play a key role in dialogue with investors,’ says firm’s CEO

Stockholm, Sweden-headquartered audiobook and e-book streaming services company Storytel has named Mattias Frithiof as its new head of investor relations.

Frithiof brings 15 years of experience in the financial industry, having held roles in investor relations and credit analysis. In his most recent role, he served as assistant vice president and analyst at Moody’s Investor Services. Earlier in his career, he spent more than seven years at Swedbank working in IR and as a senior credit analyst.

Frithiof joins the company as it looks to develop its communication and engagement with stakeholders and the wider investment community.

‘As a well-known brand and public company, Storytel attracts a great deal of attention from a range of stakeholders, including in the financial markets,’ says Storytel CEO Johannes Larcher.

‘With his strong financial and analytical background, Mattias brings important knowledge, insight and new ideas to the table. He will play a key role as we continue to develop our dialogue and engagement with investors, analysts and other stakeholders.’

As part of his new role, which he starts today, Frithiof reports to company CFO Peter Messner.
