People moves: Oceaneering, KeyCorp and PPG find new IR heads

Hilary Frisbie, Brian Mauney and Jonathan Edwards take on new roles

This week in investor relations sees Oceaneering International appoint Hilary Frisbie as senior director of investor relations.

She succeeds Mark Peterson, who is retiring from the global technology company. Frisbie joined Oceaneering’s legal department in 2011 and has previously held the role of associate general counsel.

Alan Curtis, senior vice president and CFO at the firm, says: ‘[Hilary’s] understanding of the company and ability to convey the Oceaneering story provide essential continuity to our shareholders and the investment community.

‘She will also be responsible for expanding our investor outreach programs. Her appointment continues our commitment to developing new company leadership. In her new role, Hilary will report to me.’

Elsewhere, financial services company KeyCorp announced that Brian Mauney is taking the helm as director of investor relations, succeeding Vernon Patterson who retires later this year.

‘Vernon has made a lasting impact on the way Key shares its financial story [with] our shareholders, clients and teammates over the course of his 30 years at the company,’ says Chris Gorman, chairman and CEO at KeyCorp. ‘His leadership, wise counsel and focus on building strong relationships with our investors and equity analysts have helped Key navigate both prosperous and challenging times over the years.

‘Brian brings a depth and variety of financial services experience to the role that I am excited to add to the organization.’

Mauney brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having previously served as deputy director of investor relations at BNY Mellon.

Paint and coating manufacturing company PPG has named Jonathan Edwards, currently PPG assistant treasurer, as its new director of investor relations. The promotion sees him report to Vince Morales, PPG senior vice president and CFO. Edwards replaces John Bruno, who was also promoted to vice president of finance at the company in July 2023.

Edwards joined PPG in 2002 as a financial analyst in the company’s corporate finance function. In 2013, he became global finance director for protective and marine coatings.
