Norske Skog fills IR gap

Successor found after paper manufacturer’s long-serving head of IR leaves company

Norske Skog, the Norwegian paper manufacturer, has announced the appointment of a new vice president of investor relations.

Tom Rogn, a former equity analyst with Fondsfinans, will take up the position on October 1.

Rogn has also held positions at Morgan Stanley and eZ Systems, as well as working as an independent consultant.

He holds a master’s degree in business from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

‘Rogn’s broad background ensures we will maintain and extend Norske Skog’s strong relations with the different parts of the financial markets,’ says Sven Ombudstvedt, Norske Skog’s CEO, in a press release.

Rogn has been brought in to replace Jarle Langfjæran, the company’s head of IR since 1993, who is leaving the company.
