Laurie Havelock, editor-at-large, IR Magazine
Laurie Havelock is a journalist, writer and podcaster who has worked with IR Magazine for more than a decade. He was previously assistant business editor at the Daily Telegraph and acting business and money editor at the i newspaper. In his spare time, he is a keen boardgamer and hosts a podcast about them called Idle Fantasy. He lives in London with his husky, Mischa. 

Andrew Cooper, vice president, healthcare equity research, Raymond James
Andrew Cooper joined Raymond James in June 2013 and the equity research team in June 2014 in the healthcare space. In February 2020 he assumed lead coverage of the diagnostics & clinical laboratories sector with further expansion into the life science tools industry thereafter, though he has experience across many non-therapeutic categories. Cooper graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science in business administration and political science in May of 2013

Giuseppe Montefinese, manager, contributor relations - US, Visible Alpha
Giuseppe is currently Manager of Contributor Relations at Visible Alpha overseeing the relationship of US and LATAM brokers, and has over 10 years experience in capital markets and corporate investor relations. Prior to joining Visible Alpha, Giuseppe was Director and Head of Investor Relations for Startek, Inc., a technology-enabled business process outsourcing company. Prior to Startek, Giuseppe’s IR experience spanned across both mid and large-cap financials, predominately in the Property & Casualty Insurance sector. Prior to his career in investor relations, Giuseppe worked on the Corporate Actions and Market Watch desk at the New York Stock Exchange. He has a degree in economics from Rutgers University.

Peggy Reilly Tharp, vice president, global investor relations, ICL Group
Peggy joined ICL in 2020 as vice president of global Investor Relations, bringing more than 20 years of IR experience to the role.

Prior to ICL, Peggy served as vice president of IR for Caleres, a global footwear company. She also served as senior director of IR for Savvis, a managed hosting solutions firm, and as director of IR for Superior Essex, a leading global provider of magnet wire. Peggy started her career at Anheuser-Busch, as a member of the Executive Development Program and also held roles of increasing responsibility in Investor Relations and Communications.

Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising and public relations from Bradley University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Jason Schmidt, VP, investor relations, Upstart
Jason Schmidt is the Vice President and Head of Investor Relations at Upstart.  Prior to joining Upstart in 2021, Jason was a Director of investor relations at AMD where he helped to manage the stock from small cap to well over $100B in market cap.  Previously Jason was a Director of investor relations at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise where he helped to manage one of the largest corporate restructuring/spin offs.  Jason holds an MBA from Cornell and a BA in Economics from UCDavis.
