Moderator: Tim Human, senior reporter, IR Magazine
Tim Human is senior reporter at IR Magazine. He rejoined the publication in 2019 after two years working as a freelance writer for a range of international clients. Previously, he was editor of IR Magazine between 2013-2017. He has also written for Corporate Secretary, IR Magazine’s sister publication, and CorpComms, the UK-based magazine for corporate communications professionals.

Cynthia Alers, director of investor relations & M&A, Elementis
Cynthia has held senior roles as Investor Relations Director for FTSE100 and 250 companies, after beginning here career in corporate broking and equity capital markets with JP Morgan Cazenove.  Her experience spans the UK, European and North American markets, new NASDAQ listing, IPOs and M&A transactions.  She is also a non-executive director for Orwell Housing Association where she chairs the Audit Committee and was previously a non-executive director with the Port of Dover, where she also chaired the Audit Committee.  In her spare time, Cynthia is an active fund-raiser for the charities she chairs and is passionate about education in improving life prospects. She holds an MBA/MA in Finance & Accounting and International Management from Wharton Business School and a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Robert Irvin, founder and director, RMS Partners
Robert Irvin is a founder and director of RMS Partners, a leading investor engagement consultancy.  He has been advising companies on investor engagement for over 15 years.  Prior to founding RMS Partners in 2017 he was a director at Capital Access Group and previously head of client management and investor access at Broker Profile for nine years.  Robert holds an MA in Economics and Business from Edinburgh University, a Graduate Diploma in Law and has also completed the Bar Vocational Course.

Michael represents a strategic leader with global securities experience.

Neil Shah, director of content & strategy, Edison Group
Neil is the Director of Content & Strategy at Edison Group, a leading content led IR business that works with over 300 listed companies around the world. Edison’s content has always been made available to retail investors and a key goal of the business is to democratise access to companies and investment information for all investors. Neil joined Edison in 2005 and prior to that he worked at the hedge fund Tusker Capital, the Pan European research team at Goldman Sachs and Price Waterhouse.
