Tim Human is senior reporter at IR Magazine. He rejoined the publication in 2019 after two years working as a freelance writer for a range of international clients. Previously, he was editor of IR Magazine between 2013-2017. He has also written for Corporate Secretary, IR Magazine’s sister publication, and CorpComms, the UK-based magazine for corporate communications professionals.

Yousif Ebeed, corporate governance analyst, Schroders

  • Prior to this, Yousif was an Associate at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in the Research team

Paul Schneider, director of corporate governance, Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan
Paul Schneider is a global corporate governance expert with over twenty years of experience in the field. He started his career at the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance (CCGG), where he helped launch the organization and establish its influence. He then joined Ontario Teachers' (Teachers') and led their global governance initiatives across public equity assets, including proxy voting, engagement, and policy advocacy. He has also authored research papers on governance topics, such as executive compensation. He is a frequent speaker and a former board member and vice chair of the International Corporate Governance Network. He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mike Vogele, managing director, Alliance Advisors
Mike Vogele is a Managing Director at Alliance Advisors’ Global Advisory Group. He is a multilingual governance and proxy professional with more than 20 years of experience working with both investors and issuers in executive and director compensation, governance practices, data analytics, and voting trends to enhance shareholder value. From these experiences he has a comprehensive understanding of ISS, Glass Lewis, and global investor proxy voting policies in the US, Canada, UK, Germanic markets, France, Benelux, and Scandinavia. 

Mike assists Alliance clients in focus areas including shareholder engagement, proxy/circular review, equity plan and executive renumeration proposals, and shareholder meeting advisory.  Mike is a frequent speaker and author on governance and proxy topics. 

Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, Mike worked for several years at ISS Corporate (IC) where he advised issuers in a variety of markets on executive remuneration, governance ratings, and shareholder engagement. Prior to that, Mike worked at Glass Lewis leading their European engagement outreach. He was also a founding partner of IVOX, a European-based proxy and ESG research company, which was eventually acquired by Glass Lewis. Mike began his career at ISS in their European Research Team.
