Five companies nominated for five awards each at IR Magazine Awards – Greater China 2023

Highly competitive field emerges for Hong Kong event, held in person for first time since 2019

Five companies lead the pack ahead of the upcoming IR Magazine Awards – Greater China 2023, with each nominated across five categories for their market-leading IR programs.

China Resources Beer (Holdings) Co, Kerry Logistics Network, Lenovo Group, Link Asset Management and Far East Consortium will all contend five categories at this year’s awards ceremony, which will recognize Greater China’s leading investor relations teams in person for the first time since 2019.

Alongside a nomination for best investor relations officer (large cap) for Kevin Leung, China Resources Beer is also vying for the title of best overall investor relations by a large-cap company, alongside China Unicom (Hong Kong), Galaxy Entertainment Group and Shenzhou International Group Holdings.

Kerry Logistics Network’s five nominations include one for best overall investor relations (small to mid-cap), best overall investor relations officer (small to mid-cap) for Iris Tsang and best IR during a corporate transaction. The other companies contesting the best overall investor relations (small to mid-cap) category are Canvest Environmental Protection Group Co, Gigabyte Technology Co, NWS Holdings and Yu Yuen Industrial (Holdings).

The winners of each award will be unveiled at the upcoming IR Magazine Awards – Greater China 2023, taking place on Friday, December 8 at the Conrad Hong Kong. Companies will compete to win awards in two categories – researched and nominated – which both celebrate the success of companies and individuals who are leading the way in IR in the Greater China region.

For researched categories, companies do not submit nominations. Instead, hundreds of analysts and investors cast their votes and give their opinions on which companies do the best IR in the region. In nominated categories, companies have the opportunity to submit a written entry for aspects of IR that complement our researched categories. These are then evaluated by a panel of judges.

This is the first year since 2019 that the IR Magazine Forum & Awards – Greater China have been held in person, after restrictions on local travel were put in place during the Covid-19 pandemic. More than 200 senior IR professionals joined the event in a virtual setting last year, and we hope to see them in person this year.
