Part two of a Mifid II special: Ticker 86

‘There has been no cliff edge, there’s been no massive disruption, but we are now seeing lots of little anecdotes of where behavior is changing’

The second part of The Ticker’s Mifid II special features an in-depth interview with Michael Hufton, founder of London-based corporate access platform ingage. Hufton talks to IR Magazine about the changing attitudes toward research and access, the ways in which IR teams have been preparing for these changes and who is willing to pay for what.

He also offers a number of anecdotes around the impact of the European regulation, including the fact that ‘on the footer of all the emails from one big German house based in Frankfurt, there is now something that says, If this is research please delete me from your list unless we have a research agreement with you.’

Also on this episode of The Ticker, snippets of interviews with some of the winners from the IR Magazine Awards – US 2018. Listen now or download for later – and subscribe now on iTunes.
