Kronos Bio names new senior vice president of IR and corporate communications

Marni Kottle joins with several years’ biopharmaceutical experience

Kronos Bio, a Nasdaq-listed company dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by cancer, has appointed Marni Kottle as senior vice president of corporate communications and investor relations.

Prior to Kronos Bio, Kottle was vice president of corporate communications at Gilead Sciences, where she was responsible for the company’s corporate brand, financial communications, media and social media strategies and employee communications.

Before Gilead Sciences, she was an internal communications consultant at Genentech, where she worked on project-based assignments for internal communications and wrote news stories for the company’s intranet site.

Her previous experience includes journalistic roles covering business news and the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries at the San Francisco Chronicle, Bloomberg News and the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

‘I am delighted to welcome Marni to the Kronos Bio team during this important time of growth for the company,’ says Norbert Bischofberger, president and CEO, in a press statement.

‘With her expertise in corporate public relations, industry background and experience as a reporter, she will be instrumental in shaping our communications strategy as we advance our pipeline of oncology drug candidates.’
