Equifax has announced the appointment of Dorian Hare as its new senior vice president of corporate investor relations, effective immediately.
Hare succeeds Trevor Burns, who is now senior financial officer for Equifax’s Global Consumer Solutions business. Burns spent two years leading the IR function at Equifax. A company press release notes that the senior vice president serves ‘as an extended member of the Equifax senior leadership team’.
Hare joins Equifax from Moody’s, where he was senior vice president of investor relations. An Equifax press releases notes that Hare also brings experience in financial planning and analysis, having led market analysis for Moody’s Investors Service.
Prior to Moody’s, Hare held corporate financial planning and development roles at Mastercard and Carestream Health, having started his career in investment and corporate banking with Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America. He will relocate to Atlanta for his new role.
Mark Begor, chief executive officer of Equifax, says in a release: ‘Dorian has the experience and expertise to help us communicate our progress with our investors and we are energized to have him joining our senior leadership team.’
Begor also praises the ‘outstanding job’ Burns has done leading the IR function during the last two years.
