GMS appoints Leslie Kratcoski as head of IR

Experienced IR professional has been in finance for 25 years

GMS, a leading North American distributor of gypsum wallboard and suspended-ceiling systems, has appointed Leslie Kratcoski as its first vice president of investor relations.

She reports directly to Mike Callahan, president and CEO of GMS, and joins the firm from Snap-on, an NYSE-listed, S&P 500 global manufacturer and marketer of professional tools and equipment, where she spent nine years leading the investor relations program.

Prior to that, she worked in a variety of finance roles throughout her 25-year career, including leading the investor relations programs at Beazer Homes USA and audit services group PRG-Schultz International.

Kratcoski holds an MBA from the University of Florida, an international MBA from Nyenrode Business Universiteit in The Netherlands and a BSc in business administration – finance from the University of Florida.

In her new role, she oversees the company’s day-to-day strategic IR program and serves as a spokesperson to the investment community on the company’s performance and corporate values. Her responsibilities also include broadening awareness of GMS among institutional investors by leading the company’s dialogue with the investment community while educating current and prospective investors as well as the analyst community about the company’s business strategies and performance.

‘Leslie’s deep IR expertise and prior experience in our industry make her the ideal person to serve as our first dedicated head of investor relations,’ says Callahan in a statement. ‘I look forward to her contribution as we focus on strengthening our engagement with the investment community.’
