Two of the central tenets of good governance are investor engagement and comparable financial reporting. For many issuers, especially in Europe, both of these aspects are changing. Covid-19 has transformed the way that issuers and investors interact – from the dramatic and quick adjustment to holding virtual AGMs and into a period of virtual roadshows and investor meetings.

Meanwhile, issuers in Europe are preparing for the shift towards XBRL reporting, which will lead to greater transparency and aid investors and analysts in their work. But as changes are introduced in financial reporting and filing, it requires upfront communication about how this will be implemented, placing a greater onus on effective investor engagement.

In this webinar, we will hear from experienced IR professionals and advisers about how IR teams can think about their investor engagement for the rest of the year and begin to prepare for the adoption of XBRL in Europe.

Speakers include:

Simon Ball, senior vice president, product, Intrado Digital Media
Tim Humna, reporter, IR Magazine
