CP Cheng
Head of IR, Franshion Properties

CP Cheng has been engaged in the real estate industry since the early 1990s. He is a licensed surveyor and spent two years in Europe, where he obtained his MBA. After returning to Hong Kong, he served in the investor relations function of an HKEx blue-chip property developer before joining Franshion Properties (China).

Tim Craighead
Director of Asia research, Bloomberg Industries

Tim Craighead has more than 24 years’ experience in investment research. Prior to joining Bloomberg Industries, he worked at firms such as Ketchem Creek Capital Management and Goldman Sachs, where he managed the investment review committee process for the US research department, ran product management and wrote a global themes research product.

Craighead holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from James Madison University.

Gary Ng
Vice president of IR, Lenovo

Gary Ng is responsible for Lenovo’s investor relations programs and policies. He has extensive experience in IR and financial communications. Under his leadership, Lenovo has won several IR awards including IR Magazine’s grand prix for the best overall IR in 2012. Ng has also been recognized for his achievements, winning Institutional Investor’s best IRO in technology/hardware award in 2012.

Prior to Lenovo, Ng worked for several Hong Kong listed companies including Esprit Holdings, Clear Media and Guangdong Kelon.

Randy Hung
Executive director & CFO, China Fiber Optic Network System Group

Randy Hung is also a non-executive director of China Shineway Pharmaceutical Group and of Zhongyu Gas Holdings. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the IR role. He also serves as vice chairman of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association, and is a council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. A certified public accountant, Hung holds an MBA from the University of London and a BSc in accounting from the University of Southern California.

Justin Reynolds
Managing director for Asia-Pacific, Ipreo

Justin Reynolds leads the 45-strong Asia-Pacific region team for Ipreo, a premier provider of both equity and fixed income advice, market intelligence, voting and productivity solutions that offer unparalleled expertise to the investment banking and issuer community. He has worked in capital markets intelligence, corporate governance and shareholder meetings throughout Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and Asia-Pacific for more than 14 years. Prior to joining Ipreo, he was a partner at Sodali, and worked for ISS and Georgeson Shareholder.

Paul Smith
Managing director for Asia-Pacific, CFA Institute

Paul Smith, CFA, has more than 25 years’ financial services leadership experience in many aspects of the investment management industry. He previously worked for HSBC and the Bank of Bermuda, both institutions with global operations. In addition, he has pursued entrepreneurial roles, most recently running his own firm, Asia Alternative Asset Partners. He has managed global teams as large as 1,500 staff in 13 locations.

Marcus Sultzer
Managing director, EQS Asia

Marcus Sultzer is responsible for developing EQS’ business in Asia-Pacific. Before moving to Hong Kong, he spent more than four years in Moscow successfully building EQS’ business in Russia/CIS after holding positions at the company’s headquarters in Munich as executive assistant to the CEO. He started his career as an account executive at an online service provider, managing the corporate website of Daimler/Mercedes Benz. He studied economics and holds an MBA.

Elizabeth Sun
Director of corporate communications, TSMC

Elizabeth Sun oversees both the IR division and the public relations department at TSMC. She joined the company in March 2003 and became the head of IR in July 2003. She is a frequent recipient of many awards, including IR Magazine’s best investor relations officer award and Institutional Investor’s best IRO trophy. Prior to joining TSMC, Sun held various positions in the investment field, and was a professor of finance at the San Jose State University in California. 

Catherine Szeto
Director and head of IR, Shun Tak  

Catherine Szeto leads the team in charge of investor relations and assisting in corporate finance strategies for Shun Tak Holdings. She has more than 10 years' IR experience at listed companies and prior to Shun Tak worked as a corporate financier at various investment banks. She is on the founding committee of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association. She is also a chartered financial analyst and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Cambridge.

Carol Wu
Head of Hong Kong/China research, DBS Vickers

Carol Wu joined DBS as an equity analyst in November 2007. Prior to this, she worked as a strategist for LaSalle Investment Management, a division of Jones Lang LaSalle, to set the investment direction for the fund. She was recently rated by the <I>Wall Street Journal Asia</I>as the top analyst in Hong Kong (out of 342 analysts).

Wu received her MBA from the University of Texas in Austin and her BA in international relations from the National Taiwan University.  

David Wu
Director of corporate development & investor relations, Greenheart Group

David Wu heads the global IR and corporate development team for Greenheart Group, a Hong Kong listed investment company with sustainable forest assets in South America and New Zealand. He was previously a Rothschild investment banker in London and Singapore before joining Brunswick Group in Beijing and Edelman in Hong Kong, focusing on tailored IR programs for overseas listed Chinese companies.

He holds a degree economics & management from the University of Cambridge and speaks Mandarin and English. 

Dan Ye
Vice president of Asia-Pacific commercial operations, PR Newswire

Dan Ye’s primary focus at PR Newswire is to grow its business in the Asia-Pacific markets through organic development, acquisitions and partnerships. He directly oversees sales, marketing, client services and multimedia services in 11 offices. Prior to joining PR Newswire in 2009, he spent three years as China business development director for UBM Group. 

Ye holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington.
