Winners of the IR Magazine Awards – South East Asia announced

Frasers Centrepoint Trust walks away with five gongs

Real estate company Frasers Centrepoint Trust has walked away with a number of gongs at the IR Magazine Awards – South East Asia 2017 in Singapore today.

The Singapore-headquartered firm won awards for best overall investor relations, best IRO (small to mid-cap) for Fung-Leng Chen, best IR by a senior management team, best in country: Singapore and best in sector: real estate.

The best IRO (large cap) award was won by CapitaLand’s Chang Rui Hua while the rising star award went to Bindu Menon from KLCCP Stapled Group.

Thaioil took home the best corporate governance award and the trophy for most progress in IR went to PTT Global Chemical. Ayala Corporation took the gong for best annual report and the best ESG communications award was shared by City Developments and Sime Darby.

Astro Malaysia Holdings won the best investor event award while Trendlines Group took the award for best IR by an SGX Catalist company and best IR during a corporate transaction went to SMRT Corporation. Best IR website went to CapitaLand Mall Trust and the best use of multimedia for IR went to PTT Exploration & Production.

In the other country-specific awards, Adaro Energy won for Indonesia, IHH Healthcare won for Malaysia, Metro Pacific Investments took the gong for the Philippines and the winner for Thailand was Berli Jucker.

  • Telecommunication services – Advanced Info Service
  • Utilities – PETRONAS Gas
