Weight Watchers appoints vice president of IR

Corey Kinger has worked with Weight Watchers as IR consultant for many years

Weight Watchers has appointed Corey Kinger as vice president of investor relations and market analysis.

Kinger started the role on September 5 and reports into Weight Watchers’ CFO Nicholas Hotchkin. Kinger previously worked for Brainerd Communicators, a consultancy that counted Weight Watchers among its clients. She has been directly managing Weight Watchers’ IR efforts since 2014.

‘I am delighted to be joining Weight Watchers International at an exciting time for the company. It is inspiring to be part of a mission-driven organization that not only has a tremendous business opportunity, but also makes a real impact in helping people live healthier lives,’ Kinger says.

Kinger joined Brainerd in 2002 and most recently served as a managing director. She also serves on the board of NIRI’s New York chapter, where she fulfills the role of vice president and secretary.

‘Corey is the consummate IR professional,’ says Diana Brainerd, president of Brainerd Communicators. ‘During her 15 years at Brainerd, she led teams for some of our most important and complex clients, including Weight Watchers, where her new in-house role for her favorite client is the perfect fit.’
