Signet Jewelers turns to sell side for new vice president of IR

Vincent Sinisi joins after long career in equity research

Signet Jewelers, the diamond retailer headquartered in Bermuda, has brought in experienced sell-side analyst Vincent Sinisi as its new senior vice president of investor relations.

Most recently, Sinisi worked as an executive director in equity research for Morgan Stanley. In total he spent five years with the investment bank. Prior to that, he held equity research roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Prudential Financial.

‘I am excited to have Vinnie join Signet at such an important inflection point for our business,’ says Signet CFO Joan Hilson in a statement.

‘He is an accomplished executive with extensive financial and investment background, and I am confident that Signet will benefit from his experiences and perspective.’

In the statement, Signet also thanks Randi Abada, the outgoing senior vice president of IR and financial strategy, who has now left the company.

Signet, which owns retail brands including Kay Jewelers, H Samuel and Ernest Jones, closed all its stores in March amid the spread of Covid-19, but has since reopened 114 of them, according to trade publication JCK
