Short lists announced for new judged categories at Europe Awards

Finland’s Valmet nominated for both best investor event and best use of multimedia

The short lists for the judged categories at the IR Magazine Awards – Europe 2016 have been announced, with the winners to be revealed at the awards ceremony on June 22 at the Park Lane Hotel in London.

The rising star category features (in company alphabetical order): Florian Bezault, vice president of IR at AXA; Cátia Lopes, IR manager at Galp Energia; Martin Kjær Hansen, senior IR manager at ISS; Sergey Klinkov, head of IR at Moscow Exchange; Jakub Frejlich, head of IR and deputy treasury director at PGE; and Veronika Bunk-Sanderson, IR director at Telefónica Deutschland.

The companies short-listed for the best investor event award are Aegon, CTT ‒ Correios de Portugal, KPN, Unilever and Valmet.

Finally, Deutsche EuroShop, Garanti Bank, REN ‒ Redes Energéticas Nacionais, Royal Bank of Scotland and Valmet are all competing for the prize for best use of multimedia for IR.

The short lists for these new accolades will be submitted to a vote by a judging panel comprising IR Magazine editorial team members and institutional investors.
