NexTier hires vice president of IR and business development

Michael Sabella joins from Bank of America

NexTier Oilfield Solutions, an oilfield services company, has appointed Michael Sabella as vice president of investor relations and business development.

Sabella will collaborate with the company’s executive management team to further strengthen the firm’s investor relations and shareholder communications, including responsibility for communicating the company’s strategy and financial and operational performance to the financial community and general investment public, according to a statement announcing his appointment.

Additionally, Sabella will be responsible for business development as NexTier continues to explore opportunities for future growth.

Sabella joins the company from Bank of America, where he served as vice president of equity research. Before that he worked at both Morgan Stanley and Citigroup as well as serving as an analyst at Moody’s Investors Service.

‘We are excited to have Michael join our team and drive our investor relations activities,’ says Kenny Pucheu, executive vice president and CFO of NexTier, in the company release. ‘Michael's extensive background as a research analyst focused on the energy industry, combined with strong investor community relationships, positions him as a valuable resource for NexTier stakeholders.’
