Newly listed Imperial hires IRO

David Sasso joins Imperial Holdings as the company prepares to release its full-year results

Following its initial public offering in February, Imperial Holdings has brought in a new IR officer to handle the company’s relationship with the investment community.

David Sasso has joined the specialty finance company as director of investor relations with immediate effect, reporting to chairman and CEO Antony Mitchell.

One of Sasso’s first tasks will be to help coordinate Imperial’s 2010 results announcement and conference call, which are due to take place next week.

‘As we recently completed our initial public offering, we understand the importance of creating a comprehensive investor relations program,’ comments Mitchell in a statement.

‘We are committed to providing current and potential investors, analysts and the financial media with timely and detailed information about our company.’

Prior to Imperial, Sasso was a senior consultant at financial communications firm American Capital Ventures, where he worked with a number of small-cap growth companies. He has also held senior positions at network solutions provider Transax International and KCSA.

Sasso has a bachelor’s degree in English and Italian from the State University of New York at Albany.
