New head of IR and corporate development at Cole Taylor Bank

Chicago-based commercial bank appoints David Papritz

Cole Taylor Bank is bringing in David Papritz to serve as group senior vice president and head of corporate development and investor relations, reporting to CFO and COO Randall Conte.

Papritz graduated in English and business management from Luther College, later gaining an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He joins Cole Taylor from Raymond James & Associates, a Florida-based financial services firm, where he was a managing director in the financial institutions group since 2007.

Prior to this, he spent 20 years working in various senior strategic and financial roles within ABN Amro North America and its subsidiary, LaSalle National Bank.

Welcoming Papritz in a company press release, Conte says: ‘I’m very pleased to welcome Dave to Cole Taylor. His deep and broad experience in financial services and his extensive knowledge of the marketplace will serve him well as he leads the financial and strategic assessment of initiatives that will help our organization continue to grow.

‘That same background will make him an effective liaison with the investment community and our shareholders. I’ve worked with Dave for many years and I’m highly confident he will make significant contributions to Cole Taylor.’

Cole Taylor Bank is a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Taylor Capital Group, a bank holding company headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, specializing in commercial banking, asset-based lending, commercial real estate and residential mortgage lending as well as personal banking.
