Nasdaq appoints Ato Garrett as senior vice president of IR

Garrett brings decade of sell-side experience

Nasdaq, the New York-headquartered financial services corporation, has appointed Ato Garrett as senior vice president of IR. He reports to Ann Dennison, executive vice president and CFO at the company, and now leads the firm’s global IR strategy and its engagement with the investment community.

Most recently, Garrett was senior director and head of investor relations at Veeva Systems, a provider of cloud software to the life sciences industry. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a sell-side analyst at companies such as Guggenheim Securities and Deutsche Bank.

Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA in accounting, finance and strategy management from the Chicago Booth School of Business.
