Former investment banker to lead IR at Nuance

Tracy Krumme is new senior vice president of investor relations at tech firm

Nuance Communications, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions, has named Tracy Krumme as senior vice president of investor relations.

Based in Nuance’s Burlington headquarters, she reports to CFO Dan Tempesta.

Krumme has more than 25 years’ experience in investor relations, financial communications, investment banking and equity research, and says she is ‘thrilled’ to join Nuance ‘at a pivotal time’.

‘The company has taken the right steps to focus on its core businesses, accelerate innovation of its leading-edge AI and cloud offerings, and improve shareholder value,’ she adds. ‘I look forward to interacting with the investment community and communicating the growth strategy.’

Prior to this appointment, the graduate of Denison University led investor relations at five public companies: CECO Environmental, Fuel Tech, Hollinger International, Luxoft and NCR. She has also held positions as an equity research analyst at Sandler O’Neill + Partners, an investment strategist at Prudential Securities, and an investment banker at Kidder Peabody International in London.

‘We are excited to have Tracy join our team,’ says Tempesta in a statement. ‘In addition to her extensive investor relations and technology experience, Tracy has an established reputation among the investment community. I am confident that her business acumen and proven track record will make her highly effective in this role. We look forward to her contributions as we continue to execute on our strategic transformational initiatives.’
