Both hires will help raise capital to expand operations in the region

Private equity firms Carlyle Group and BC Partners have hired two fundraisers to expand their private credit and real estate activities in the Middle East.

Ani Khatri moves to Carlyle as managing director of investor relations, having recently worked at publicly listed advisory firm PJT Partners, once part of private equity firm Blackstone Group.

Joining BC Partners as a principal, meanwhile, is Yacine Mancer, who will help the firm raise capital with its clients in the Middle East, alongside IR heads Richard Kunzer and Laurent de Rosière.

Before this, Mancer’s work extended across several roles that included the Qatari investment firm Al Faisal Holding, Icelandic lender Landsbankinn and investment bank Calyon Financial. He was also a senior investor relations manager at Paris-based firm Ardian.

The Carlyle Group is a global alternative asset manager headquartered in the US. BC Partners specializes in buyouts and acquisitions financing in the US and Europe.
