Kingsdale Shareholder Services rebrands as Kingsdale Advisors

President Amy Freedman promoted to CEO

Toronto-based Kingsdale Shareholder Services is rebranding as Kingsdale Advisors to reflect the broad range of strategic advisory services it offers, from defensive advisory and governance to voting analytics and communications.

As part of this evolution, Amy Freedman has been promoted from president of the Canada division to the role of chief executive officer of Kingsdale Advisors. Wes Hall, the firm’s CEO to now, will assume the role of chairman and founder of the renamed firm.

‘Since Kingsdale was established in 2003 we have been driven to innovate and provide our clients with best-in-class services for all shareholder-related matters under one roof,’ says Hall. ‘Taking on the Kingsdale Advisors name further solidifies that commitment to the benefit of our clients.’

Freedman joined Kingsdale in 2013 with more than 12 years in investment banking in both the US and Canada, including roles in client coverage, execution and company management.

She will oversee the day-to-day operations of Kingsdale Advisors, while Hall will oversee the long-term strategic success and vision of the company.
