New IRO at FutureGen Capital

Martin Lundgren takes on IR at Washington, DC-based alternative investment firm

FutureGen Capital, an investment company specializing in property tax liens and distressed assets, has appointed Martin Lundgren, a high-net-worth wealth management professional, as vice president of investor relations.

Lundgren joins FutureGen from Pathstone Family Office, an independent wealth management organization, where he served as principal. From 2007 to 2012, he was a client relationship director at the Maryland-based private wealth management service provider Fortigent, responsible for advising wealth managers with $10 bn under management. Prior to this, he worked as a senior consultant for Excelacom, a software and consulting firm.

A chartered financial analyst, Lundgren graduated from Old Dominion University with a BBA in finance and international business. He is a certified project management professional, and also holds a certificate in investment performance measurements.

FutureGen was established in 2009 as a division of Commercial Equity Partners, an investment firm dedicated to commercial real estate, and was subject to a management buyout in 2010. The company, which has $9 mn under management, is headquartered in Washington, DC, with offices in Chicago, Atlanta and Zurich.
