3i Debt Management hires Melissa Tessier

Debt management branch of global private equity group strengthens European client relationship team

3i Debt Management (3iDM) has announced the appointment of Melissa Tessier as director of investor relations focusing on Europe. She will report to MD and partner Andrew Bellis, who heads strategy, investor relations and fund-raising at the London-headquartered investment management firm.

A graduate of the University of California, Davis and the Institut d’études politiques de Grenoble, Tessier has a strong track record of marketing and investor relations for credit products, with previous experience at AXA Investment Managers and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

She joins 3iDM from Cantor Fitzgerald where she served as senior director focusing on origination and distribution of European and US structured credit products.

3iDM, the debt management branch of multinational private equity firm 3i, is currently seeking to expand its business and has seen its assets under management grow from £3.4 bn ($5.4 bn) to £4.4 bn over the past nine months.
