Cowen hires Cameron as new head of corporate access

Former Morgan Stanley corporate access boss takes up reins at New York-based firm

Cowen Group, the New York-based financial services firm, has hired Ray Cameron as its new head of corporate access. He will report to head of equities John O’Donoghue.

Formerly Morgan Stanley’s corporate access boss, Cameron later worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital where he was in charge of developing the corporate access business. Most recently, he was head of issuer services at Liquidnet.

‘He brings with him a wealth of experience in creating innovative products and services to meet diverse client needs and we look forward to his contributions to the sales and trading group and to the firm,’ comments O’Donoghue.

Cowen’s corporate access team was established in 2008.
