Ben Ashwell, editor, IR Magazine and Corporate Secretary
Ben Ashwell is the editor at IR Magazine and Corporate Secretary, covering investor relations, governance, risk and compliance. Prior to this, he was the founder and editor of Executive Talent, the global quarterly magazine from the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants. Before moving to the US, Ben was the vice president and editor at Executive Grapevine, overseeing a daily news website, ten annual supplements and HR Grapevine, the UK’s leading HR and talent management magazine. In his spare time, Ben writes fiction, poetry and arts and culture reviews. Eyewear Publishing recently named him in their list of the Best New British and Irish Poets.

Andrew Behar, CEO, As You Sow
Andrew Behar is CEO of As You Sow. Founded in 1992, As You Sow is the nation’s leading non-profit practitioner of shareholder advocacy and engagement. Shareholders are a strong, powerful force for creating positive, lasting change in corporate behavior. As You Sow uses that power, to change corporations for good — engaging corporations; educating individual and institutional investors about proxy power; and promoting alignment of investments with values. He is on the board of the US Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investing (US-SIF); the advisory boards of Real Impact Tracker and 1-Earth Institute. His book, The Shareholders Action Guide: Unleash Your Hidden Powers to Hold Corporations Accountable was published in November 2016 by Berrett-Koehler.

Cathy Conlon, head of corporate issuer strategy and product management, Broadridge
Cathy is the head of Corporate Issuer Product and Strategy for Broadridge’s $3.5 billion Investor Communications Solutions (ICS) division where she oversees the development and execution of the business growth strategy. In this role, Cathy spearheaed Broadridge’s entry into the financial compliance space with the acquisitions of Summit Financial Disclosure and Appatura. She leads innovation efforts in the issuer business including expansion of Broadridge’s governance suite of services such as Virtual Shareholder Meetings, ESG, and digital solutions to help public companies connect with their retail and institutional shareholders. During her tenure at Broadridge (ADP), Cathy gained roles of increasing seniority, with leadership and expertise in Business Development, New Product Development, Strategic Marketing and Development. Cathy is on the board of XBRL US.

Eileen Kamerick, non-executive director, Legg Mason Closed End Funds, AIG Funds, Associated Banc-corp, Hochschild Mining
Eileen Kamerick is a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow and SEC Financial Expert who is currently serving as a Board of Directors Member for three NYSE corporations and one LSE corporation.

Her financial acumen and expertise was honed in corporate Senior Advisor and CFO roles for major multi-national companies with businesses in Asia, EU, Africa, and the Americas, including: Amoco Corporation, Heidrick & Struggles, and Leo Burnett.

Eileen is known among top corporations—from small privately-held to global public conglomerates—as a strategic collaborative executive who drives growth and profitability while significantly enhancing stakeholder value.

She has an extensive network created from considerable active involvement with numerous corporate, civic, and nonprofit organizations, both nationally and in the California, Florida, and Illinois markets.

Eileen earned her MBA with honors in Finance and International Business and her JD from The University of Chicago and completed additional graduate work at Exeter College at Oxford University. She was Phi Beta Kappa and Valedictorian of her undergraduate class at Boston College.
