Laurie Havelock, editor-at-large, IR Magazine
Laurie Havelock is a journalist, writer and podcaster who has worked with IR Magazine for almost a decade. Outside of writing about investor relations, corporate governance and green finance, he also works for the i newspaper as a news editor and culture writer. Away from writing, he works on several comedy podcasts including Podshamblesand Idle Fantasy and was formerly a radio DJ, and hosted a weekly show on Shoreditch Radio called What's Your Plan B? He lives in London with Mischa, his dog.

 

Christopher Deans, director of investor relations, Q4
Christopher Deans is a Director, Investor Relation at Q4, a Chartered Professional Accountant and FSA Credential holder with 15+ years of experience in corporate finance and investor relations. At Q4 he acts as an advisor and extension of his clients’ IR teams, assisting with the development of streamlined IR workflow while leveraging Q4’s suite of technology services. Prior to joining Q4, Chris worked in investor relations and FP&A for a major Canadian retailer and in the investment services industry.

 

Robert Ellsworth, director of sustainability, Schnitzer Steel Industries
Robert Ellsworth is the Director of Sustainability for Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. Ellsworth joined Schnitzer in 2010 as an intern and became its first Sustainability lead in 2012. Over the past 11 years Ellsworth has built, from the ground up, Schnitzer’s Sustainability program, including its ESG data collection, reporting obligations, and various projects and initiatives within the Company’s operations, EH&S, public affairs, procurement, and investor relations functional groups. Ellsworth holds an M.B.A. from Portland State University in Oregon, and a B.S. in Biology from San Diego State University in California.
