Now in its eight year the IR Magazine Awards & Conference – South East Asia 2012 is one of the most anticipated events of the year for the IR industry in Asia. IROs from Singapore, Indonesia and other countries in the region get the unique opportunity to gather and discuss pressing issues, learn from each other’s best practices, and celebrate their achievements in the awards ceremony.
At this year’s conference, as well as the usual format of guest speakers, we introduced something new and interesting to the audience. The event started with the Singapore Exchange opening ceremony and we also introduced the think tank format to Asia for the first time.
The think tank format is similar to a panel plus roundtable discussion: attendees sit in the roundtable and participate in heated debate over timely topics. The panelists of each session also act as session leaders joining each table’s discussion. The think tank format is unique: there are no speeches or presentations, just discussion groups.
Senior executives from these listed companies have attended in the past:
Adora Energy, Bank Negara Indonesia, CapitaLand, CIMB Group, DBS Group, Keppel Corporation, Kinergy, OCBC Bank, SingTel, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Exchange, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, ThaiBev, UOB Group, Vale Indonesia
