Help for the little guy

The SEC committee that's supposed to help small caps deal with today's regulatory environment is reported on.

On April 12, members of the SEC’s Advisory Committee for Smaller Public Companies (ACSPC) met to discuss how they intend to help smaller companies deal with the deluge of regulatory and accounting requirements. ‘This is the beginning of a new day. Our goal is to bring meaningful recommendations for change,’ said James Thyen, president and CEO of Kimball International and co-chairman of the ACSPC.It seems a simple goal – but achieving it will be far from simple.
